This interactive course is intended to help managers improve their inner strength by helping them build resilience in themselves so they can support and bring out the best in their teams.
What is Resilience?
Resilience can be defined as one’s ability to deal with and bounce back from difficult situations such as, tragedy, trauma, adversity or stress. It is not about avoiding difficult situations, but rather it is about facing them and using helpful thoughts, patterns, or behaviours to overcome them. The good news about resilience is that it is malleable and therefore a learned behaviour, rather than an inborn skill or talent. This means that anyone can learn how to be resilient and benefit from applying it to every aspect of their life, whether at work or home. Why build a resilient team?
