  • Key skills required for successful phone-based selling 

Part 2: The Telephone Sales Process 

  • Overview of the stages: preparation, call opening, needs analysis, presentation, handling objections, and closing 
  • Setting call objectives and planning outcomes 

Part 3: Opening with Impact 

  • Techniques to capture attention within the first 10 seconds 
  • Crafting strong opening statements 
  • Establishing credibility and rapport quickly 

Part 4: Understanding Prospect Needs 

  • Active listening skills 
  • Asking the right questions to uncover needs, wants, and pain points 
  • Responding with empathy and clarity 

Part 5: Language & Responses That Sell 

  • Effective telephone phrases and tone usage 
  • Building value through language 
  • Handling objections and common responses 

Part 6: Recognising the Close & Taking Action 

  • Verbal cues that indicate buying readiness 
  • Techniques to close with confidence 
  • Setting clear next steps and follow-up actions 

Part 7: Roleplay & Feedback  

  • Practical exercises simulating real-life calls
