LEADING FROM WITHIN – ALIGNING YOURSELF FOR FULL POTENTIAL
This programme provides a transformational personal journey that can be experienced individually or in a group. It is based on the Life-Role Alignment Model, a development of the Logical Levels of Change by Robert Dilts. The L-RAM focuses on four core elements: Purpose; Values; Competencies and Behaviours. Through a reflective process, the programme offers participants the opportunity to explore each element and identify areas of misalignment. This leads to formulating an action plan that would promote better alignment and a significant increase in personal effectiveness and maximisation of personal potential.
MANAGING STRESS AND ACHIEVING WORK/LIFE BALANCE
Stress and its impact on people, performance and the organisation is often underestimated in today’s competitive and fast-paced working environment. Yet research uncovers staggering statistics about its negative effects. This programme covers three core areas in dealing with stress effectively: understanding, assessing and managing stress.
Participants will gain a deep understanding of the psychological, physical causes and effects of stress; use assessment instruments to determine how stress is impacting them and how well they are responding to daily and ongoing stressors; address stress management and prevention from a holistic perspective – physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual; tackle work/life balance; cover specific stress management techniques such as deep relaxation and progressive muscular relaxation; develop a personal stress management plan to implement in their daily reality.
DEVELOPING ACCURATE SELF-AWARENESS – UNDERSTANDING ONE’S PERSONALITY
A high level of accurate self-awareness is fundamental for leaders and managers. This programme is about increasing levels of self-awareness in relation to personality type, characteristic behavioural traits, values and psychological competencies. Participants work with one or two personality profilers: The Enneagram identifies participants’ personality along nine possible numbers. It includes feedback on strengths and weaknesses for each type, direction and recommendations for personal growth, awareness of potential personality pitfalls. The Keirsey Temperament Sorter ll (Corporate) places participants along with sixteen potential types and gives feedback on areas such as Introversion versus Extroversion, Intuition versus Practicality, Rationality versus Emotionality, Process versus Target orientation.
This programme can be done individually or in a small group: individually participants receive personal attention, achieving more depth of understanding while in a group they receive ongoing feedback from others.
ASSESSING AND DEVELOPING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Research shows that healthy levels of Emotional Intelligence are key to effective leadership, where managing emotions in oneself and others is as important as the more strategic aspects of leadership. This programme is divided into two parts: The first part deals with Emotional Intelligence Assessment using the MSCEIT; the second part deals with the development of Emotional Intelligence Skills. The MSCEIT is designed to assess and measure emotional intelligence. It is an ability-based scale i.e. it measures how well people perform on specific tasks related to emotional intelligence.
Responses represent the actual abilities to solve problems by integrating emotional and cognitive factors in dealing with various situations. MSCEIT measures four main branches of emotional intelligence: Accurately identifying emotions in oneself and others; using emotions effectively to facilitate thinking, problem-solving, and creativity; understanding emotions in oneself and others; manage emotions in oneself and others. The second part of the programme is a workshop during which participants develop skills related to the four areas of emotional intelligence.
DEVELOPING CREATIVITY: TECHNIQUES FOR RELEASING CREATIVITY AT WORK
This is primarily a problem-solving workshop that enables participants to work on unblocking themselves in front of difficult situations where they feel “stuck”. The workshop is based on exercises that help to unleash creative problem-solving in the participants. It also introduces participants to a creative thinking process called “mind mapping”; a method that is widely used to create innovation, take multiple viewpoints of the same situation, generate multiple options, and find new solutions to old problems.
DEVELOPING PERSONAL POWER – BUILDING SELF- CONFIDENCE AND PERSONAL POTENTIAL
This programme is aimed specifically at building and improving self-confidence in people who want to overcome psychological hurdles to achieving their goals and become all that they can become. It focuses on the nature of the internal dialogue and helps participants understand and appreciate the nature of their thinking and beliefs and how these impact the way they feel and the way they perceive their goals and aspirations. Participants will be helped to identify blocks to self-esteem and self-confidence by recognising negative internal messages termed “subpersonalities” and master the skill of transforming this thinking into more realistic and empowering self-talk.
DEVELOPING PERSONAL GOALS AND STRATEGIES
This is a practical course that enables participants to develop effective goals and strategies that make implementation and achievement easier and more likely to materialise. The programme covers a set of guidelines and characteristics of effective goals using NLP principles. This includes an action plan that consists of built-in measures to evaluate progress and effectiveness during the goal achievement process
MANAGING TIME EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY
The effective management of time has become a major issue in today’s hectic and overloaded lifestyle. People often sacrifice effectiveness for efficiency, a short term strategy that creates problems in the long term. The course offers a fast, easy to use a model that facilitates prioritization and scheduling of work. Participants analyse how they are managing their time and identify areas in which they can be more effective by being time-efficient.
The programme enables participants to adjust to shifting priorities, expanding workloads, tight deadlines and increased uncertainties, transforming them into controllable challenges, with less stress and greater clarity, and at the same time balancing life and work.
