TRAIN THE TRAINER – DESIGNING AND DELIVERING EXCELLENT TRAINING PROGRAMMES
This powerful workshop puts the latest trends and techniques at the trainer’s fingertips. Whether participants have been training for a while or never stepped onto a platform before, this workshop will demonstrate the skills to become a facilitator of adult learning, not just a presenter. In this hands-on programme, participants will have the opportunity to facilitate training sessions and receive feedback about their performance. It focuses on four key areas in training: Building a positive learning climate; providing opportunities for acquisition and application of knowledge; encouraging the transfer of learning to daily reality.
Participants will build confidence and discover the impact of engaging the audience from the beginning and leaving trainees praising their training abilities.
EFFECTIVE PUBLIC SPEAKING – PRESENTING WITH IMPACT AND INFLUENCE
Public speaking remains one of the most feared activities for many people due to the strong element of being “watched and judged” by a number of people. This programme will help participants deal with and overcome “stage fright”, whilst learning the technicalities of making effective presentations in front of small and medium-sized audiences. It will provide them with skills to present ideas with conviction, control and self-confidence, and techniques to enable them to handle challenging situations.
ADVANCED TRAINING TECHNIQUES
This programme builds on Train the Trainer and consists of practice workshops that enable participants to apply training techniques in greater depth. This is done in a safe environment where participants can receive direct feedback on their performance. Alternatively, participants may be filmed delivering short sessions so that they can also see themselves besides getting feedback from others. The programme goes into some detail into areas such as: Working with different types of role plays, conducting effective simulation exercises, processing techniques, questioning techniques, conducting effective discussions, dealing with challenging behaviours.
This programme explores the various aspects of training as a vehicle that drives organisational strategy. The process of conducting training needs analysis, together with elements of content design and styles, and methodologies of delivery are key aspects covered in the programme. There will be a strong emphasis on the importance of applying newly acquired skills to the benefit of the individual and the organisation as a means of asserting the return on the developmental investment.
This programme is designed for any person who is responsible, in part or full, for the organisation’s training function be it coordination, identification of training needs, design, delivery or post-training.
